It started in a Lexington Panera Bread, with Abby and I silently getting excited about the idea of shooting their engagement session in Ryle’s hometown of Kalispell, Montana. Ryle, being the logical, reasonable thinker wasn’t sure if it would work with his schedule. But, I learned a few weeks later that this is a man who does anything to keep his woman happy. The tickets were booked and the real excitement began. We gave ourselves an extra shooting day, in case of inclement weather and when every day turned out to be perfect (cold, but perfect), Ryle soon earned the Man of the Year award. We shot for days, hooooours and hours of adventures and love. We drove and took pictures, drove more, took more pictures. Visiting Kalispell, Big Fork, Whitefish & Glacier National Park, I couldn’t get enough. It was truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been and Abby & Ryle were the perfect people to experience it with. GCP and this entire weekend will always hold a little place in my heart.
Starting here with Ryle’s family lakehouse and ending with the driftboat where he proposed, I loved learning about these two and their story.
Grab some popcorn. Welcome to my most epic engagement post.
