As we began shooting that evening, Fowlen says, “I’m probably just going to laugh the whole time”. How did she know the way to a photographer’s heart? And they definitely won my photographer’s heart over. Fowlen & Brad were completely wonderful in front of the camera. Put it this way, if Barbie & Ken were from Kentucky, this would be them. But not in a cookie cutter kind of way. No, more in a “made perfectly for each other, through and through” kind of way. Fowlen is absolutely beautiful and Brad’s adoration for her is so evident.
We had the pleasure of shooting at the Lexington Castle and I was like a kid in a candy store. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and we didn’t see a single soul there the entire time. Convenient, but haunting. I liked it. I experimented with a lot of indoor lighting, which is out of my element, but I LOVED how they turned out.
Fowlen & Brad are getting married this coming January. I’m so glad I only have to wait a few more months to photograph them again! Thank you for a fun evening!
