The lovely Jamie is part of a large group of awesome girls who I’m so thrilled have chosen little ol’ me as their wedding photographer! This makes me a happy photographer for a few reasons. 1) they’re all totally gorgeous, ok? 2) I get to see them at everyone else’s wedding as well as their own, fun right? And 3) they LOVE to have a great time and I love having a great time with them!
The last time I saw Jamie and Nate was at Caroline & Kevin’s beautiful wedding… At the reception they were dancing, being lovey and ridiculously cute. They were one of those couples I kept snapping pictures of because I simply couldn’t resist. And then get this, Nate offered to hold my video light and follow me around while taking pictures of the other couples. Who does that?! I pretty much knew then that Jamie and Nate were made of pure awesomeness.
We met at the BREATHTAKING Greystone Estate in the Longview suburb of Louisville. Let’s just talk about this location for a second. I usually hit 2-3 locations with my couples but Jamie said it should be a “one stop shop”. I was crossing my fingers and she did NOT disappoint. The Greystone is available for wedding rentals as well, so if you’re interested, contact planner extraordinaire Lauren Chitwood at lauren@laurenchitwoodevents.com.
Jamie and Nate were actually set up by one of my 2011 brides. When they were initially “set up”, Jamie says she was looking striking in an Ugly Christmas Sweater after having just attending a party. Clearly, Nate saw past the said sweater because 2.5 years later, there’s a big ol’ rock on her finger. Even though Jamie was a little anxious about being in front of the camera (because, let’s me honest, who isn’t?), their chemistry made every shot better than the next. They were what I call “easy”. Their every motion together was fluid and real and made me feel like I shouldn’t be there, lol. Those are the best ones.
Their little yorkie, Brody, joined us for a few photos. Jamie and Nate, thank you for relaxing with me, shooting with me, choosing me as your photographer and of course, holding my video light. Until July 31st. ;]
