One brilliant week in September, Geni & I joined an incredible gathering of people to celebrate the union of Jordan & Elia. After traveling down to the Amalfi Coast for a few days, we headed back to Rome where our Friday began with a Vespa Tour. About 30 scooters deep, we toured the famous Roman sites and it beyond exceeded my expectations. I adored my Italian driver, Alessio, who spoke fantastic English and pointed out other lesser known historical places as we roamed a streets of a city more than 2500 years old. Kind of mind blowing. After an afternoon of fun, the rehearsal dinner commenced at La Torre del Palazzo Colonna, where the wedding day really felt upon us. After the most gorgeous Italian Saturday we could have asked for, the families wrapped up the weekend with a Sunday picnic brunch at Villa Borghese Gardens, celebrating several birthdays, including the bride’s. Jordan & E did their wedding weekend so right, I could not have dreamed up a more perfect celebration.
My sweet Geni captured all of the Vespa photos while I was on GoPro duty. You can see our trip highlights here, if you’re into that kind of thing.
Wedding photos coming on Monday.
