Often times at wedding receptions, I’ll spot a couple who just oozes love. They’re dancing, kissing, flirting and having a great time. And I just can’t keep my eyes (lens) off of them. It’s the law of photographics… if there’s LOVE in the room, I must photograph it! Well, Kristin and Kevin were that couple. Last June, Kristin was a bridesmaid in one of my weddings… and an unsuspecting bride-to-be. She and Kevin were having the time of their life on the dance floor and I noticed it. They were so contagious . And of course, I secretly thought to myself, “that’d be a fun wedding to shoot”.
Well! She became engaged very shortly after and when she wrote to me, I was so thrilled. She and Kevin have that special bond of acceptance and unconditional love. They make each other smile and that makes my job cake. Speaking of, Kristin also scored major points by bringing along cupcakes. That’s always one way to this photographer’s heart. Well, before I went raw. I digress.
We spent the afternoon in nature, making sparks. Thank you for sharing your love with my camera and I can’t wait for your April wedding!
